Trump sent a message to China that it is in their own best interest to solve the North Korea problem before we do.

Is he serious? Well, he did blow up 29 Syrian planes in retaliation for a chemical weapons attack. We're talking nukes, and China doesn't want to roll those dice.

Trump bombed Syria to prove to the Deep State that he was a criminal warmonger they could trust. We now know that there was no chemical weapons attack. Trump knew it even before ordering the bombing of Syria. America is the Evil Empire.

proverbe vie rencontre The media blackout of Seymour Hersh’s exposé on US missile strike against Syria
3 July 2017
World Socialist Web Site
https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2017/07/03/pers-j03.html

Excerpts:

A full week has passed since the publication by a major German newspaper of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh’s thoroughgoing debunking of the false claim of a Syrian government chemical weapons attack on April 4. The supposed atrocity by the regime of Bashar al-Assad was used to justify the April 6 US cruise missile strike on the al-Shayat air base. At least nine civilians, including four children, died when 59 Tomahawk missiles rained down on the base in western Syria.

Since the German daily Die Welt published Hersh’s article, titled “Trump’s Red Line,” on June 25, its contents have been subjected to a total blackout by the major newspapers and broadcast and cable news networks in the United States.

Hersh’s account makes clear that, not only was there no objective evidence to back up Washington’s charges of a chemical weapons attack by the Syrian government on the town of Khan Sheikhoun, the fact that there was no such attack was known to the US military and intelligence apparatus even before the cruise missile strike was ordered.

“The available intelligence made clear that the Syrians had targeted a jihadist meeting site on April 4 using a Russian-supplied guided bomb equipped with conventional explosives,” Hersh wrote. “Details of the attack, including information on its so-called high-value targets, had been provided by the Russians days in advance to American and allied military officials in Doha, whose mission is to coordinate all US, allied, Syrian and Russian Air Force operations in the region.”

Basing himself on sources within the US intelligence apparatus who spoke on condition of anonymity, as well as access to “transcripts of real-time communications, immediately following the Syrian attack on April 4,” Hersh establishes that a Syrian government plane dropped a conventional 500-pound bomb, not a chemical weapon, on the site of the meeting, which included “representatives of Ahrar al-Sham and the al-Qaida-affiliated group formerly known as Jabhat al-Nusra.”

The target was a cinder block building that served as a “command and control center” for the so-called “rebels,” who used its basement to store “rockets, weapons and ammunition,” as well as chlorine, fertilizers and insecticides, Hersh reports.

“A Bomb Damage Assessment (BDA) by the US military later determined that the heat and force of the 500-pound Syrian bomb triggered a series of secondary explosions that could have generated a huge toxic cloud that began to spread over the town, formed by the release of the fertOne could be forgiven for thinking that in the context of a war threat that could drag the American people and all of humanity into a nuclear conflagration, extensive and convincing evidence that the entire premise for this threat was a pack of lies would at the very least be acknowledged and subjected to a critical examination by the major media.

To believe this, however, one would have to be unfamiliar with the modus operandi of what passes for the “Fourth Estate” in the United States over the past quarter-century of interrupted US wars of aggression. Again and again, the US media has parroted the phony “human rights” pretexts for wars from Yugoslavia, to Iraq, Libya and Syria, all waged in pursuit of US imperialist geostrategic interests. Led by the New York Times, in the run-up to the criminal US invasion of Iraq in 2003 the American media not only repeated the Bush administration’s lies about “weapons of mass destruction,” but helped embellish them. They are fully complicit in war crimes that have claimed over a million lives.

Hersh himself calls attention in the article to the criminal role played by the American media. “Trump, who had campaigned as someone who advocated making peace with Assad, was bombing Syria 11 weeks after taking office, and was hailed for doing so by Republicans, Democrats and the media alike,” he writes. “One prominent TV anchorman, Brian Williams of MSNBC, used the word ‘beautiful’ to describe the images of the Tomahawks being launched at sea. Speaking on CNN, Fareed Zakaria said: ‘I think Donald Trump became president of the United States.’ilizers, disinfectants and other goods stored in the basement, its effect magnified by the dense morning air, which trapped the fumes close to the ground,” he continues.

“Did the Syrians plan the attack on Khan Sheikhoun? Absolutely,” a senior adviser to US intelligence told Hersh. “Do we have intercepts to prove it? Absolutely. Did they plan to use sarin? No. But the president did not say: ‘We have a problem and let’s look into it.’ He wanted to bomb the shit out of Syria.”

North Korea is that regions problem. The mobile missle launchers are of Chineese design.
China is also building multiple military bases in the South China Sea. They are the main
traiding partner of North Korea! Lets remember that RED CHINA SIDED WITH THE NORTH DURING
THE WAR. THEY PLAYED A MAJOR ROLE IN KILLING MANY US SOLDIERS!

I know that you want to think well of Trump, and so you want to pretend that this latest posturing for effect is as serious as you imagine. But you are ignoring a lot of the big picture.

I'm not referring to the fact that nuking North Korea would be extremely unwise. I'm talking about how NOT significant Trumps order to briefly bomb a single Syrian airbase was. As well as how often Trump has "talked tough" about all kinds of challenges to America, and then backed down and gone entirely quiet, or even switched to praising the people he just finished excoriating, because he wants them to like him.

Mainly, China knows that Trump's holster is empty, when it comes to him "punishing" them for failing to influence NK. This is where Trump's failure to build bridges with the rest of our allies and other opponents (except Russia, who is an opponent) has been so self/America-destructive, and where his allegiance to American business interests shackles him.

He can't do anything to reduce China's trade power. He can't get the rest of the world to join the US in taking a strong hand against China. And that is of his own making. As many of his supporters also misunderstood, there is a HUGE difference between the idea of "America First," and "America Alone." His words referred to the first, but his actions have all been about the second.

The waters that surround the North Korean peninsula are getting to be busy waters.

Our missile ready submarines are there now and swimming around with the dangerous North Korean subs.

And all we need now, is for the Russians to busy up the waters with their own subs and getting in our way with the usual rattling of their sabers, as if to intimidate us in some way.

So, Donald Trump needs to tell Russia to not get in the way, and stay the f**k back, as we will be there protecting our interests in that region of the world.

It seems Putin has a choice to make, either line up with us, or line up with North Korea, but no longer can he have it both ways.

Yes, stand back Putin, grab some popcorn and watch how the US is going to render North Korean's threat as useless.

And Donnie may want to get with the program as well.

Now that North Korea has been lobbing missile out over the open sea, we are orienting our selves to start knocking their test missiles out of the sky like shooting ducks!

I pity the fools!

Stay tuned and watch how we start knocking down their test missiles as if it was just target practice for the navy!

I can't understand why you people are so dense? China isn't going to do a thing about N Korea, because it isn't in their best interest.

Let's assume that S Korea and the US could do something about the N Korean threat. Let's say they could some how overthrow the government and unite the Korean peninsula under a one free democratic state. Do you think China, a communist state, would like that on their border?

We don't even have to go that far. If we could get N Korea to modify its behavior in anyway to make it more friendly to the free world would present all sorts of problems to the China's communist regime. An attitude change on the part of N Korea would have an influence on the average Chinese citizen.

For China, the current regime in N Korea is the easiest one to deal with.

Europe doesn't have any good reason to prefer American hegemony over working trade deals with Russia and China. America is on the outside looking in. America's capitalists want to control the trade of Russia, China, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Indonesia, and Australia all from half a world away. That requires lots of war, lots of terrorists doing your bidding, lots of sanctions, lots of financial rewards to dished to the most abject scumbags who promise to support your agenda, and lots of just pure f**king evil. And that's what America is up to. America is the Evil Empire.

Do you really expect China to do much about the North Korean worldly threat?

When they have already realized that we intend to continue our arms agreements with our best US anti-missile technologies with Taiwan!

And while they huff, puff, and pout about that, they are not going to help us with the threat. We are on our own here. And don't look for any cooperation from the Russians either.

Because Russia is still pouting over our Patriot Missile sales we are having in Germany, Poland, and other Russian neighboring countries!

And they are in no position to do anything about how we must now deal with North Korea by shooting down their missiles.

Because we are left as that being our best option right now.

Well, no matter how you feel about it and with much worldly regret, the world has to realize that it's just not the Big 6 anymore.

A very ugly 7th has reared it's ugly head.

So, don't kill me for saying this- Hold on!

Perhaps we should call it the Big 7 and invite those ugly bastards to the new Big 7 table.

If that's what it takes to get North Korea to stop the madness, I'm willing to give it a try as a gentleman's gesture.

But everyone knows these psycho's will protest and not show up to the table.

So, I'm not holding my breath on that!

demande de rencontre drh The Problem is Washington, Not North Korea
April 17, 2017
by Mike Whitney
https://www.counterpunch.org/2017/04/17/the-problem-is-washington-not-north-korea/

Excerpts:

The American people –whose grasp of history does not extend beyond the events of 9-11 — have no idea of the way the US fights its wars or the horrific carnage and destruction it unleashed on the North. Here’s a short refresher that helps clarify why the North is still wary of the US more than 60 years after the armistice was signed. The excerpt is from an article titled “Americans have forgotten what we did to North Korea”, at Vox World:

aurillac rencontre “In the early 1950s, during the Korean War, the US dropped more bombs on North Korea than it had dropped in the entire Pacific theater during World War II. This carpet bombing, which included 32,000 tons of napalm, often deliberately targeted civilian as well as military targets, devastating the country far beyond what was necessary to fight the war. Whole cities were destroyed, with many thousands of innocent civilians killed and many more left homeless and hungry….

According to US journalist Blaine Harden: “Over a period of three years or so, we killed off — what — 20 percent of the population,” Air Force Gen. Curtis LeMay, head of the Strategic Air Command during the Korean War, told the Office of Air Force History in 1984. Dean Rusk, a supporter of the war and later secretary of state, said the United States bombed “everything that moved in North Korea, every brick standing on top of another.” After running low on urban targets, U.S. bombers destroyed hydroelectric and irrigation dams in the later stages of the war, flooding farmland and destroying crops……

“On January 3 at 10:30 AM an armada of 82 flying fortresses loosed their death-dealing load on the city of Pyongyang …Hundreds of tons of bombs and incendiary compound were simultaneously dropped throughout the city, causing annihilating fires, the transatlantic barbarians bombed the city with delayed-action high-explosive bombs which exploded at intervals for a whole day making it impossible for the people to come out onto the streets. The entire city has now been burning, enveloped in flames, for two days. By the second day, 7,812 civilians houses had been burnt down. The Americans were well aware that there were no military targets left in Pyongyang…

The number of inhabitants of Pyongyang killed by bomb splinters, burnt alive and suffocated by smoke is incalculable…Some 50,000 inhabitants remain in the city which before the war had a population of 500,000.” (“Americans have forgotten what we did to North Korea“, Vox World)

The United States killed over 2 million people in a country that posed no threat to US national security. Like Vietnam, the Korean War was just another muscle-flexing exercise the US periodically engages in whenever it gets bored or needs some far-flung location to try out its new weapons systems. The US had nothing to gain in its aggression on the Korean peninsula, it was mix of imperial overreach and pure unalloyed viciousness the likes of which we’ve seen many times in the past. According to the Asia-Pacific Journal:

rencontres québec gratuit “By the fall of 1952, there were no effective targets left for US planes to hit. Every significant town, city and industrial area in North Korea had already been bombed. In the spring of 1953, the Air Force targeted irrigation dams on the Yalu River, both to destroy the North Korean rice crop and to pressure the Chinese, who would have to supply more food aid to the North. Five reservoirs were hit, flooding thousands of acres of farmland, inundating whole towns and laying waste to the essential food source for millions of North Koreans.10 Only emergency assistance from China, the USSR, and other socialist countries prevented widespread famine.” (“The Destruction and Reconstruction of North Korea, 1950 – 1960”, The Asia-Pacific Journal, Japan Focus)

Repeat: “Reservoirs, irrigation dams, rice crops, hydroelectric dams, population centers” all napalmed, all carpet bombed, all razed to the ground. Nothing was spared. If it moved it was shot, if it didn’t move, it was bombed. The US couldn’t win, so they turned the country into an uninhabitable wastelands. “Let them starve. Let them freeze.. Let them eat weeds and roots and rodents to survive. Let them sleep in the ditches and find shelter in the rubble. What do we care? We’re the greatest country on earth. God bless America.”

This is how Washington does business, and it hasn’t changed since the Seventh Cavalry wiped out 150 men, women and children at Wounded Knee more than century ago. The Lakota Sioux at Pine Ridge got the same basic treatment as the North Koreans, or the Vietnamese, or the Nicaraguans, or the Iraqis and on and on and on and on. Anyone else who gets in Uncle Sam’s way, winds up in a world of hurt. End of story.

The savagery of America’s war against the North left an indelible mark on the psyche of the people. Whatever the cost, the North cannot allow a similar scenario to take place in the future. Whatever the cost, they must be prepared to defend themselves. If that means nukes, then so be it. Self preservation is the top priority.

You right-wingers really have no clue what the f**k is going on. The pressure the US is putting on North Korea is an attack on China. America's ruling-class isn't looking to trade North Korea for any agreement on the South China Sea or Taiwan. Both of those are also part of the attack on China. It's about US global hegemony and both China and Russia stand in the way. America isn't trying to reduce tensions. They're trying to ratchet them up.

femmes rencontre departement mayotte China and Russia forge closer ties against US
By Peter Symonds
6 July 2017
World Socialist Web Site
https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2017/07/06/chru-j06.html

Excerpts:

Chinese President Xi Jinping’s two-day state visit to Moscow this week underscored the growing economic and strategic ties between China and Russia as they try to counter the US military build-up in North East Asia and Eastern Europe, its military intervention in Syria and threats of trade war measures.

The two governments’ hardening stance against Washington was underscored by the joint response of Xi and Russian President Vladimir Putin to US demands that all countries, particularly China, impose crippling economic sanctions on North Korea following Pyongyang’s test launch of a long-range missile on Tuesday.

Putin threw his weight behind China’s proposal that the US and South Korea end major joint military exercises if Pyongyang freezes its missile and nuclear tests, in order to establish the basis for negotiations. The Trump administration has already flatly rejected the proposal and declared it will hold talks with North Korea only under “the right circumstances”—that is, if Pyongyang agrees in advance to US demands to denuclearise.

Putin and Xi also called for the US to remove the Terminal High Altitude Area Defence (THAAD) anti-ballistic missile battery being installed in South Korea, saying it “seriously damages [the] strategic interests of regional powers, including Russia and China.” The THAAD’s powerful X-band radar is capable of peering deep into Chinese and Russian territory to detect missile launches, undermining their ability to retaliate against a potential US nuclear attack.

While Russian and Chinese opposition to Washington’s aggressive stance against North Korea was on display in yesterday’s UN Security Council meeting, Xi’s visit to Russia was also significant in strengthening their economic and broader strategic relations.

Speaking at a joint press conference on Tuesday, Xi enthused that relations between the two countries were “the best they have ever been.” He continued: “Whatever the changes in the international situation, our determination and confidence in developing and deepening our strategic partnership remains unwavering.”

Putin declared: “Russia and China really have very close or identical opinions on all major international issues.” A joint statement called for “respect of Syria’s sovereignty and independence”—a remark directed against Washington’s illegal military intervention aimed at ousting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, a Russian ally.

Xi provided a significant boost to Putin by extending more than $11 billion in funding to the Russian Direct Investment Fund and Vnesheconombank, Russia’s state development bank. While both entities are under sanctions by the US and its allies, the funds from the China Development Bank are denominated in renminbi and thus skirt around US-led bans.

The funds are primarily for investment in cross-border projects as part of China’s ambitious One Belt One Road (OBOR) scheme, which seeks to establish an extensive network of transport, communication and other linkages connecting Asia and Europe across the Eurasian landmass. Other investment will go into energy, industry and transport inside Russia.

While military cooperation was not openly discussed during Xi’s visit, it is evident in the growing number of military exercises between the two countries and also involving Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) members. The SCO was established by Russia and China in 2001 to draw in the Central Asian Republics and block US efforts to extend its influence in the resource-rich region.

The Russian and Chinese navies are planning a joint maritime exercise in the Baltic Sea later this month. A group of Chinese warships—a destroyer, a frigate and a support vessel—will join Russia’s Baltic Sea fleet just weeks after the US joined its European allies in a major annual drill there. In 2015, Chinese warships conducted drills with the Russian Black Sea fleet in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea.

China has obtained greater access to advanced Russian military technology and weapons as it seeks to modernise its armed forces due to growing tensions with the US and its allies in Asia.

The conflicting economic and strategic interests that have produced sharp tensions between Russia and China in the past remain. However, confronted with an aggressive and unpredictable Trump administration, Xi’s visit points to a strengthening partnership that is prepared to openly oppose the US over North Korea, Syria and potentially other dangerous flashpoints.

Excerpt:

It is an article of faith in the West that each missile test by North Korea is a “threat” or “provocation.” But is it true? Over the last several months, India tested its Agni-2 medium-range and Agni-3 intermediate-range ballistic missiles, as well as an Agni-5 ICBM, producing only yawns of indifference. Pakistan fired an Ababeel medium-range ballistic missile, capable of delivering multiple warheads, while China and Russia both tested ICBMs. The United States, as it was roundly condemning North Korea for its tests, launched Minuteman 3 and Trident missiles. None of these tests by nuclear powers were deemed provocative. Nor was note taken of the hypocrisy of the Trump administration in expressing outrage over North Korea doing what it was doing.

Objectively speaking, there is no difference between North Korea’s missile tests and the others, although it should be pointed out that the U.S. arsenal of nearly 7,000 nuclear warheads dwarfs that of North Korea.

As the North Korean foreign ministry observed, “Not a single article or provision in the UN Charter and other international laws stipulates that nuclear test or ballistic rocket launch poses a threat to international peace and security.” [14] The political and economic might of the United States gave it the means to prod other members of the UN Security Council to agree to its demand to impose sanctions on North Korea. As a result, North Korea is the only nation singled out by UN sanctions that forbid it from testing the same types of missiles as other countries are free to do. There is no legal basis for this double standard, which is primarily a product of U.S. influence.

From the North Korean perspective, the large-scale military exercises that the United States regularly conducts in tandem with South Korea are threatening. These drills rehearse the invasion of North Korea, including decapitation operations to kill North Korean leaders. Recently, American B-1B bomber planes executed a series of flights over South Korea, simulating the carpet bombing of North Korea. [15] Originally designed to deliver nuclear weapons, the B-1B underwent conversion to a conventional weapons only role ten years ago. [16] The plane is still a formidable weapon, however, and can carry three times the payload of a B-52. [17]

In the Western mindset, none of these actions can be construed as being “provocative” or a “threat” to North Korea. But it is easy enough to imagine the hysterical reaction if Russia were to conduct joint military exercises in Cuba, practicing the bombing and invasion of the United States, along with the assassination of U.S. political leaders.

Just yesterday, President Donald Trump rencontre creuse questioned the validity of American intelligence on foreign soil and then questioned whether other countries or actors were involved in the hacking.

This statement was quickly followed by Foreign Minister Lavrov appearing on television to say that President Putin had denied involvement, Trump said reports of meddling were exaggerated and he accepted Putin's denials.

Leading American intelligence agencies, Republicans and Democrats in Congress and many members of his own administration are confident that the Russians intervened in the American election last year. But a simple assurance from President Putin overrides that.

And instead of presenting evidence during his meeting with President Putin and making clear that he would stand with Democrats and Republicans and the leading intelligence agencies, prostituees en foret Trump accepted the assurances of Putin all while smiling in front of the cameras. And the Russians have photos -- that they are already expertly spreading around the Internet -- to prove it.

What a fuking tool he is.

Meanwhile, that Jong-Un guy can justify building his expensive toys as long as he can convince his people they are in imminent danger of being savagely attacked by an unscrupulous power, allowing him to rattle his sabers! And of course, the more sabers he rattles, the more the U.S. gets upset. So they rattle some of their own, beefing up nearby forces, holding war exercises, readying more threatening military hardware, and making sites de rencontre gratuit avis Trumpish threats.. So the Jong-Un Man shouts... "See? I told you all so! They're about to attack! Food, we don't need. Make more weapons!!!"

You know, i'm curious as to how we'd get the regional allies to go along with a military option. I can't see South Korea and Japan willing to absorb casualties that could go into the millions because fewer than a million of our own people are now under a threat their entire populations has been living with for years. Anything else in mind? Because I don't see any threats by Trump as having made a whole lot of difference.

It's interesting how many Americans are quite eager to believe that North Korea has a crazy leader who might make up silly excuses to bomb and kill people, and that America needs to come to the rescue of the world, when crazy Trump is in White House and bombing Syria over made-up shit while dropping a YUGE, "mother of all bombs" on Afghanistan.

North Korea is a target. They aren't imagining it. There is an ugly history of the Evil Empire of America criminally attacking and destroying North Korea and killing lots of North Koreans to which many American are utterly oblivious.
